The project would be to install timepuddles (I-V) in five different places, one for each continent. The length of the pendulum should be the same in each place, so that the movement of the pendulum would be exactly the same - the movements would be in absolute harmony, irrespective of the site on the earth. Alternatively, the length of the pendulum may differ according to local conditions (to be determined later). However, casting the die, and thereby determining the sequence of droplets, would remain a local particularity.
The project is not conceived as a sum of five installations, but as one global project of art The observers in different continents know that they are joint by the same perception - the movement of the pendulums, but nevertheless are aware that differences remain in the picture, which is finally created. Time puddles- in-five-continents introduces the element of SPACE, internally perceived, which will interfere with the external perception of TIME.
From time to time, glassplates from each site, which were created simultaneously, will be brought together and presented as one singular manifestation of Time-puddles- in-five-continents.
